ARE MUSLIMS RACISTS?

For sometime now, my discussion has concentrated on religion especially Islam. But of course with reasons so explicit.

Till the end of the 19th Century and till the halve of the 20th century, one of the most disturbing issues in the world is racism. It was such a big problem to the extent that human beings claim ownership of others as people claim ownership over their dogs. The only difference is that the dogs of nowadays are treated even better than the slaves then. Of course, slavery still exist but in a more 'dignified' way. Dignified in the sense that slave masters don't let the world know what they are doing for fear of prosecution by the law, which directly or indirectly knows what they are doing but kept a blind eye.

It looked like no other socio-cultural issue would be more damaging in future until the religious-toned terrorism of the Islamic fundamentalists who kill because 'it is the will of God'. Sometimes when these people strike, they dish out reasons that show nothing but total ignorance and mockery of the religion they think they are protecting.  It is not difficult to highlight another racial organization masking themselves in the hood of religion to commit evil and at the same time attract everyone's sympathy.

On the Christmas eve, faction of Islamic fundamentalists Bombed a group of Christians praying in the church in celebration of their faith own faith in contravention of no law. This is not the first of its kind in Nigeria this year or in the world. Instead it is directly in  the form of what happened in Iraq few months back. Is either these people are doing this in the name of their religion or in their own name. If it is in their own name, why is the same style of killing going on in different parts of the world by people with the same religious profession? If it is in the name of  Islam as they claim, has Islam turned into anther racist organisation?

My answer is simple: Islam is an honorable religion and a way to the supreme being. However, evil flourish when those who should talk look the other way. If Muslims do not rise against these insignificant few who are destroying their faith, these people will grow and destroy Islam. 

For now, no one can rightfully describe Muslims as racists but the future may be different if nothing is done now. The picture you see above is the hand work of those who kill for God.

But the truth is that LOVE IS ALL WE HAVE GOT. Without love and unity, we will remain polarized and no force or religion, belief of politics can save us.
