I AM AN IMMIGRANT

That is the Title of the book I am writing at the moment.



Haven lived outside my mother land for almost eight years, I have experiences that only time can tell. However, the story i have at this time is not my story. It is our story. Our story, in that it  is about as many of us as are immigrants either by choice or coercion. I am not writing my autobiography yet that is why i want to share many people's life experience.

However, for the sake of simplicity, I intend to build all my collection of stories into a character. He is ordinarily a journeyman that left Nigeria in 2006. He is 180 cm tall, handsome and well built. He is a kind that every woman will imagine if asked to picture an ideal African lover. He is a charmer in words, life style and action. Above all, he is a ladies man when he wants to be and a perfect idiot when he loses his track.  His life has been a symbol of survival yet his image is admired by many who encounter him.

With a penchant of smartness and ability to hide his numerous failures, he could pass for the most actualized man among fellow immigrants.

Apart from all about appearance and logic. though, he set a goal for himself. He wants to go back someday to start and run his own business and he cares less how long it will take him to achieve this goal.

If you have a personal story that you will like to be part of  this book, (story about yourself or someone you know) I will gladly incorporate it.

One last thing, I want to write I AM AN IMMIGRANT to be like a mirror of every immigrant i have encountered in Sweden and in all 6 countries i have visited but more so, I want to accept as many interesting life stories as possible .
