The scares of World War 2 (WWII) though, excruciating on the countries that had its direct contact, especially, France and Uk, and the whole world in general, the positive aftermats of it all can never be neglected. Apart from the international relationship that sptrang up between the United States and the Soviet Union, the alliance of countries in such a moment projected a world capable of being simply one when the real circumstance arizes.
In number, some countries suffered more damages than others but in diplomacy and development, almost every continent of the world was plunged into what would have been a total eclips save for the timely intervention of the United States.
After the end of the WW2 which was necessited by the unconditional surrender of the Axis powers on May 7, and 8, 1945, about a week after Adolf Hitler had committed suicide and the final destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9 respectivel, which put a peg on the final preparation of Defence by Japan, the world sensed a collective success and a progressive parnership for the first time in human history.
The necessity of a United nation became not only obvious but also sacrosanct even as the war was on, so as to be a force in ground to forstall possible future disturbance. Of course, there are other departments of the Union whose aims are spread over issues relating to world peace and development.
In my beliefe, none of these was meant to favour any group of nations over others but to establish a world brotherhood characteristic of peacful coesistent. The IMF, The UNICEF are somewhat other aspects of this one-in-a-life-time invention.
Howver, it seems so often, especially in the distant post world war nations that the initial idea of the founders of the UN is almost totally obliterated by the hyper politics of the late 20th Century internationl relations with more emphases on the developed world far more over the developing countries.
when the purpose was almost lost and abuse becoming inevitable, another impending denger most recently reminded us that we are one thus, 'the climate change'. I think it is right that in crisis people seem to unite but the world has so much developed that others emancipation would not be solely crises triggard otherwise we risk extinction of the most developed cretures on the planet earth.
